The Shapes of Wrath

At least six times in Revelation 14-16, the wrath of God is referenced. For many of us, describing God as wrathful seems contradictory to other characteristics He possesses such as compassion and mercy. What we need to realize is that God’s wrath is an extension of His holiness. Revelation 14-16 reminds us of this truth as it presents some images that help to shape our understanding of God’s wrath.
