COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The study of Philippians will focus on the all-sufficiency of Christ and HIS strength supports  those who serve him even in the face of death.
The study of Colossians reasserts Christ as the fulfillment all spiritual things and provides guidelines for practical Christian living.

TEACHER: John Iverson

LOCATION: Annex 2, Room #213

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Have you heard of the 7 things that God hates? Chances are you have, but have you ever taken the time to study those things? In this class, that is exactly what we will do. Proverbs 6:16-19 discusses 7 things that God hates and we will take one week to study each sin individually. We will open the class by introducing these verses and sin as a whole, spend the following 7 weeks studying the 7 items listed in the verses, then close out talking about our responsibility as Christians and the necessity/power of God’s grace.

TEACHER: Isaac May (BYG Summer Intern)

LOCATION: UPPER ROOM

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Have you ever stopped and thought, what’s the point? What am I really supposed to be doing with my life? This summer we’ll talk about how much more God has in store for us if we’ll make Him our everyday purpose. An intentional faith changes our words, our prayers, our Instagram, our confidence, the way we treat other people— everything!

TEACHER: Amelia Rodgers (BYG Summer Girls Intern)

LOCATION: Basement #409
